Again, numbers don't lie, this is a top 10 defense. You say they can't stop the run yet they rank 11th in rush yards/game. Not sure if you were expecting shutouts every game, but the defense has given them a chance to win just about every game. It's the offense that's putrid.

I agree and we say this every damned year about the Bears offense. The Lions are going to pound them tomorrow and I do not expect the Bears to score much more than 14 points.
Thursday game benefits the Bears. Teams keep it more vanilla than normal on short weeks. Bears are already vanilla so it's like every other week!
If the defense is so good why are the lions going to pound them? We will see if the Bears get a lead can the Bears defense keep it. I haven’t seen them hold the lead. Bears score and the defense gives it right back.
I am not saying the Bears offense has been great, they haven’t but they are improving. The defense has been looking worse. To me that’s on Enefool since he is supposed to be a defensive coach.

Again it's a top 10 defense, so your assessment are incorrect. People are so high on the Lions because they are currently the favorites to win the Super Bowl. That combined with the lack of offense from the Bears makes the matchup more unbalanced.
You're basing your opinion on one and a half above average games by the offense since that's all you care about, but the defense has been stout.
The Bears had the lead against MN, Packers and Washington. Have you been watching the games? Actually check the scoring the Bears actually lost in these games late in the 4th quarter by letting the other team come from behind.
Our stout defense has lost the lead in at least 3 games if not more in the 4th quarter. Stop it. I didn’t say they were terrible just not great. By the way our Rookie Quarterback has put them in position to win those 3 games but just not enough. The Bears are not good period. They won’t be good until they get a new coach and that may not happen with this ownership.
Bears offense and defense suck. Lions had 75 yards rushing in the first quarter alone. Lions March down the field on first possession running the ball. Bears run defense has sucked all year. Yeah I know the Bears are a top 10 defense. Hahahaha

Second, the Bears are getting shut out and haven’t achieved a first down. I don’t know why you are focusing on the defense. The offensive display so far is much more hideous.

I focused on the defense because they were supposed to be a top 10 defense yet the can’t stop the run. They gave up almost 150 yards in the first half. Yes the Bears offense is bad I am in agreement. Some people want to continue to blame Caleb our rookie QB but is more than that. I said in the beginning of the season the only way Caleb isn’t good in this league is if the Bears coaching don’t ruin him. They have basically tried but he keeps fighting. If he doesn’t make it with the Bears he will with another team. The kid has talent but the coaching and OL need to be better. They will get there just not this year and especially until they fire Eberfool. IMO

And it was his fault Caleb decided to take time and survey the field with 9 seconds left? How does he not know he needs to move quickly?
What should he have done? It was 3rd down with right around 30 seconds left you have the whole playbook to use and then you take the timeout on 4th down for the FG.
