For me, the organization is of far more concern than the guy they just hired.Interesting enough during the decade ending with the 23-24 NFL season, the average head coaching tenure was 3.2 years with 5 coaches having been at the helm for at least 10 season. Among all HCs, average age was 43.
But, none of the head coaches they hired in the past 10 years have been able to secure another head coaching job in the NFL since leaving the Bears. That says something. Marc Trestman did secure another head coaching job...but that was back in the CFL. Where he won his 3rd Grey Cup. So, there's that. LOL!
