The way the IHSA decides 3 way tiebreakers is the team that allowed the fewest points in games involving the three teams is selected as the conference representative for playoffs. Not sure if the CS8 operates under the same guidelines for determining a conference champion, though.

This happened in the 2018 season, I believe. Both Rochester 🏈 and Glenwood had 8–1 records. Rochester 🏈 was recognized by the IHSA as the conference champ.

Eisenhower had 28 total players on their sideline. It's pretty sad to watch these 5A schools have fewer players on their sideline than their classroom average. Even sadder was they had only 34 fans in the stands. And their quarterback's parents weren't there to reassure him as he was taken from the field with an injury.

Except for U High at Eisenhower, the Week 7 games all have potential to be interesting with several impacting the playoff picture.
If QND gets the road win, they have an excellent chance of going 8-1. The Crimsons will try to rebound at home after a tough loss to Springfield.
Since beating SHG in both 2018 and 2019, SHG has outscored the Senators 225-39 over the last four meetings. After becoming playoff eligible last week, the Senators continue their challenging end of season schedule with SHG followed by Rochester and Chatham.
Either the Lions or Spartans will get into the win column in the battle of the Northend vs Eastside.
Lincoln got a big win in Week 6. Their reward is to travel to Chatham and face the Titans coming off a rough loss at U High. It's Homecoming week in Chatham and expect them to have play much better.
If Rochester starts as slowly against MacArthur as they did against Eisenhower, they could be in for a real struggle regardless of the Generals 2-4 record.
