Not surprised he went and of course he should have. I just have friends who would have been pissed if the situation was flipped and someone from Bears management would have showed up at a funeral. That’s my rub on the hatred some have and it’s silly.
I am not going to tell you who to be friends with. But, if I had friends who would act that way they wouldn't be my friends anymore.

Right. Strong home games because the other teams fans are willing to pay to watch there winning team. Funny stuff. He should have just left it alone. I hate stupid excuses.
Seems kind of weak to me. Outside of the division the home games are against the Cowboys, Giants, Browns, Steelers, and Saints.
Road schedule is brutal. Outside of the division the Bears play at Eagles, Redskins, Ravens, Bengals, 49ers, and Raiders.
Why do you only call Washington their original team name, but not the Bears or Ravens?
Should the Ravens be referred to as the Browns or Colts? Either way that would get confusing.
I am also one who never calls Washington either of their current names. Why? Because those names are just stupid. You do remember what the name was just before the current name, right? Now that was dumb. I also never call the Cleveland baseball team by their current name. That is also quite dumb.
It’s what you grew up with they will always be the Redskins no different than Comisky Park and the Rosemont Horizon.

Sometimes you stick with the old name for familiarity reasons (Sears Tower is just more familiar and comfortable than Willis Tower). Sometimes you stick with the old name because the new name is dumb (Who is going to call it 875 N Michigan Avenue?)
Heck, my alma mater has been Joliet Catholic Academy since 1990, but "Catholic High" or "Joliet Catholic" come out of my mouth almost 100 percent of the time. And it's not because I dislike "Academy" or "JCA," my mind just connects to the old name first and foremost and always will. That's why it's Sears Tower, Washington Redskins, Cleveland Indians, and the wrestling state championships last weekend were at "Assembly Hall" and not "State Farm Center."
You can rebrand something all you want, but people stick with what they know. May take several generations to get the majority to buy into a change and, even then, it is likely to change before then.

Yeah, I do say "Catholic High" as much if not more than JCA. Speaking of Catholic High, I went to and graduated from a Catholic grade school here in Lockport with a guy who was the QB on their 1976 state championship team. I just learned the other day that he was diagnosed with Parkinson's about a year ago. I haven't seen him in years but I hear it is pretty mild at this point. I just hate hearing news like that.

For me it's to let Jenkins walk and free up more cap space. I like him, but he just can't stay healthy. Then sign Smith and Dalman for the OL. For a surprise they sign Joey Bosa, who may end up being a cap casualty, being owed $36 mil from the Chargers this year if they keep him. His durability is a question and that's why I think the Chargers may release him.
With the OL and EDGE addressed in free agency that makes the draft wide open, do they draft the best available? Do they trade back? If they stay at 10 I'd be open to taking Jeanty, knowing Johnson loves 2 quality RBs. Otherwise trade back, add more picks, and add another OL, DL, or best available in the 12-18 range in the first round.

Get a solid, proven, and current, not old, or past his prime, Offensive lineman. Not some some guy off the bargain basement. Address the line again in the first round, and with one of the early 2nd round picks. We need an edge rusher, and this won't be popular but he had a solid year last year, I'd get Chase Young. He's only 25, I don't think he will ever be the dominate edge rusher he was at OSU but I think he's proven worthy of a decent payday and solid player with always that potential to be elite.
Did you see his efforts with the 9ers in the playoffs on a contract year? That screams Nate Davis
FA - Priority #1, if available, is sign Smith. Priority #2 is 2nd IOL (a few different options). Priority #3 pass rusher, even a vet for maybe a year or two.
Draft - If those 3 things are done in any order than you go best available need in R1, trade down possible if reaching on a player etc. RB and OL/DE/DT in R2 depending on R1.
I know, he had a nice season though last year with 6 sacks and 21 QB pressures. Not the blockbuster name but serviceable and still young at 25
Just read a scouting report on Will Campbell, talking about him at guard (not surprising) but it's the first time I've heard him mentioned as a center.....interesting.
I saw yesterday some talk of Mack coming back on the cheap. At least there are some viable options
