Bears

You also have to know how they actually measure it. Eagles had the top ranked OL per PFF, they rank RBs based on what the RB can control or at least that is their objective. So it kinda hurts Barkley a bit cause he can’t control that his OL was ranked the best and what benefits come with that.
True. They also don't know what the playcall or responsibilities for that play are.

Rumors coming out of the league meetings are that the Bears may be kicking the tires on trading UP in the draft.

Just rumors at this point so they mean nothing, but Carter and Graham would be the only two I would be interested in trading up for.

Hunter?

No.

Think he will end up being a cancer to whatever team he ends up on and he won't play both sides of the ball full time in the NFL. Likely to be a full time CB with a package built for him at WR.

Regardless of how I feel about him, I don't see him sliding past #3 and the highest I could see the Bears trading up would he with NE at #4.

Bunch of nonsense to me. I don’t see trading up from 10 to 4 and giving up both 2s and 2026 1 to do it on Poles and Johnson’s bingo cards.

Bears will have their choice of a good player at 10, whether that’s a RB, TE or DL. My guess is Hampton or Warren.

That's a hell of a hypothetical offer. A trade up from 10 to 4 would realistically only cost one of their 2nd round picks and maybe a 5th, not both 2's plus a first next year.

If Hampton is your guy then they should trade back as I don't see him being worth the 10th pick. Outside of Dallas at 12 there isn't a team in serious need of a RB until Denver at 20.

I don't see them trading up, but will be interesting how things play out. I could see them trading with Carolina at 8 if Graham or Jeanty fall that far.

This isn't a monster draft class so ideally I want them to trade back and pick up more draft capital.

I saw a two round Sports Illustrated mock draft on line that had the Bears getting Traveyon Henderson, OSU RB, in the second round which I liked. They had them getting Williams the Edge guy in the first round...other second round pick was a OT.

I've seen mocks where they take the other OSU RB in round 2, Quinshon Judkins. I think I like him over Henderson. Either way there's enough RB depth that I don't think the Bears should reach for a RB if Jeanty isn't there at 10.

Seen a few mocks having them taking Xavier Watts from ND in the 2nd as well as Prince (not gonna attempt to spell his last name), Edge out of Ole Miss who also played at Florida with Gervon Dexter.

Picking 10 in this year's draft is an odd spot given that there are 5-6 blue chippers and then 30-40 really good players. Multiple execs have said there is very little difference in talent between the 10th best player and the 40th best player this year.

There is a high risk high reward edge out of Tennessee that Id gamble on if he drops. First round talent with a clubhouse cancer reputation, but they claim it's all heresy.

SHOCKING!
The cost of twiddling their thumbs and not starting 2 years ago is significant....
