Bears

Not sure why Sweat didn't make it to the line of scrimmage after giving zero effort on the pass rush. He was rested. LOL.

Which player will blame the fans because of the booing?

Unless a miracle happens, eberflus and waldron should be packing their bags.

Why can't this overrated defense ever stop anyone from scoring with seconds remaining b4 halftime?

This is post-Brady and Belichek NE. And the Bears look horrendous 😬.
I think the players are on board with the boos... However, they are quitting too

If they lose (or more like "when"), I say let's stay at 4 wins and get another high pick!

Let's do this!

They are definitely not motivated. That's why both eberfus and waldon should be packing their bags. Then the interim coach and staff cut all weak-ass players who suck.

As Bears' fans, we've seen some clunkers. But, that might have been the toughest watch I can recall in a long time. Frees up Sundays moving forward, though. This year is over. They may somehow luck into a win on the remaining schedule, but I wouldn't predict it.

Bears need to get a higher pick in the draft for a QB. Drafting #1 Overall is too low of a draft pick for the Bears.

Why is anyone still a Bear's fan? Sort of the battered wife syndrome.
When you're born and raised a fan of a team, it's really damn difficult to jump ship. At least that's how I'm wired. I can't just pick a random team and have the same passion for them. Doesn't mean I'm not furious with the ownership and the on field performance of my two favorite professional franchises (Bears and White Sox).

Chicago is cursed with some of the worst ownership in all of professional sports. Unfortunately, that is the most constant element of a pro sports franchise, so the fans are pretty much stuck with these owners until they decide to sell the team. Yes, I'm stating the obvious.

The coaching staff is toast, it's just a matter of when. I'm wondering who decides the fate of Ryan Poles. Is that Kevin Warren's decision or George McCaskey?

When the Bears go bad I watch GB and watch good football.

I also was a Mahomes fan before he was drafted in the NFL.

Also a Harbaugh fan so watching the Chargers.

I still wish we had Fields. He at least had great highlight moments when rushing with the football.

Watching our current QB running forever east and west behind the line of scrimmage is getting old and is like watching grade school kids playing around with a football in the playground.

I have asked this question too. I have said this before. But I was a Chiefs fan years before becoming a Bears fan. I became a Bears fan in 1977 and Walter was the reason. I didn't regret the decision until a few years after Ditka was fired. I don't have any Bears jerseys. But I do have a red and a white Len Dawson Chiefs jersey. I am still a Chiefs fan. They had some good teams under Schottenheimer, but just couldn't get over the hump.

And the Chiefs had some rough years in the 2000s. But they haven't missed the playoffs since 2014 and they were 9-7 in that season. And since the end of 2009 they have missed the playoffs only three times. And we all know about the Super Bowl championships.

The Chiefs have trailed in almost all of their games this year but still haven't lost. It's not like they are blowing the league away. They are just winning. I look at that blocked FG yesterday to end the game against DEN and preserve their perfect season. That is a team that simply never quits. Does anyone think the Bears could have done that? I don't either.

The Bears players have quit. I really don't know how players can quit when they are living their dream and making serious $$$. I really don't. But, this coaching staff is awful. How Eberfool hasn't been fired yet is beyond me.

I am not going to be forced to watch this garbage anymore. But I love NFL football and I am signing up to get NFL Ticket so I can watch what I want. I don't care about the cost. BTW, The Washington, Pittsburgh game was a real good game. I am happy I got to see that game. In years past we wouldn't have gotten to view it with the Bears at home. Thank God that changed. They are just awful.

Soooo...are you guys, who said the Bears are a playoff team ready to admit your mistake? HMMM???

They are not a playoff team, you were right, your trophy is the mail.

I am a live and let live guy. That's your choice. But I refuse to watch Garbage and I was actually a Chiefs fan before I became a Bears fan. I never really jumped off the Chiefs wagon. My oldest child is a big time Chiefs fan and has been since the age of 10 when the opportunity to walk on the field was presented.

That child and the spouse of that child are getting Chiefs season tickets starting next season as they just moved into the area from out west.

Here is the million $ question, who in the Bears org is most incompetent?

A. Matt Eberflus- the team looks clueless and he looks over matched

B. Ryan Poles- he picked the coach and built a roster around “difference” maker skill players with no line.

C. Kevin Warren- he announced a new stadium with no idea how to finance and no plan going forward, but the presentation looked great.

D. Virginia McCaskey- she is the owner with all the power.

Oh, I get it. My enthusiasm was crushed after that Hail Mary two weeks ago.

Happy for your kid. It's a great place to watch football.

Kevin Warren has completely botched the stadium situation worse than the on-field product, as crazy as that sounds.

Agreed, as well. They spent a lot of money on the old Arlington Park property. I'm still not convinced they are serious about the alleged plan to build another stadium on the lakefront. I don't trust a word the guy says. Seems like a leverage play to me to get the property taxes lower in Arlington Heights. And, I see no scenario where the Bears get public money to help build a new stadium. There simply is no public support for that, nor will there be, regardless of who holds the governor's office.

Just wasting time....they can figure it out with the school districts and the taxes.

The stadium really makes no difference to me whether they do it or not.

In fact I am at the point I wish the Bears and WS would leave the city.

I rather travel to GB now and watch real football.

I have been saying for years that I wished Chicago had an AFC team to compete with the Bears. But you know the McCaskeys would fight that to the death. The losing is one thing. That is bad enough. But the way this ownership craps on the fans is criminal. They do NOT care about winning. I, and a lot of Bears fans would be OK with down years if we felt like the organization was at least trying to win. These people are clueless and an embarrassment.

I just wish the fans would stop showing up right now in numbers that can't be ignored. I really don't know what the season ticketholders think. They just keep on buying this garbage year after year. Maybe they think the minute they give up the tickets the team will get good all of a sudden and they will miss out. I don't know. But to me it is such a waste of money and more importantly, it's a waste of time.

But, this is so typical of Chicago as a whole.

We could have stuck with Fields and mix in some Bagent this year at QB and get the same production or more with the added weapons and trade down on the #1 overall pick and draft more O-linemen.

That was my proposal from the start.

Let me know if you want to go see more good football in KC. I can get tix...even when it seems I can't. ;)

Just got done with the ALL 22 from yesterday's game. Caleb was the worst player on the field. HE WAS TERRIBLE.

He played lazy, didn't throw to open receivers, relies on his feet too much.

I'd think he if does that again he will get bench. With the HC's job on the line, he cant' afford the QB to play this poorly.

Waldron canned. Too little too late.
Well you gotta have a scapegoat. I was wondering how in hell Eberfool keeps his job. Then it dawned on me. The Bears don't feel like it is punishment enough to fire him. They must feel it is far more punishing to make him stay on this Titanic of a team.

Yep. Flus is gone on Black Monday. It's obvious they won't fire his ass during the season.

I imagine everyone in Hallas Hall is thinking they did the right thing and patting themselves on the back. Not understanding how inept they are as an organization.

One thing that confuses me is why the kids are not telling Warren to get a damn stadium deal done? Now we are talking about the old Michael Reese hospital site? Once Virgina moves on to the afterlife they are going to sell. Get the damn stadium situation figured out, dummies.

I was no fan of Waldron, but I have to wonder how things would have been different if the O line had been simply average instead of effin' pathetic. Those matadors gave up NINE sacks against a team that went into last Sunday's game at 2-7 and had carded just 16 sacks on the season up to that point.

Chgo Sports also reports a few veterans approached the coaches and requested Caleb not to be the starting qb.

More trouble on the horizon.

Not defending the OL but I think the OC play calling also plays into it and a rookie QB. Calling plays, you cannot block does no one any good.
