Seems the NFL does not want to deal with Shad and Dad's egos. I get that. Not to the point of Mel Kiper calling it disgraceful and insinuating it is because of something I do not think it is. Hell, maybe I am wrong, but ask Tomlin.
And the opposite. There were reports he was subdued and soft spoken during interviews (as well as reports of him being a diva.)

HMMMM ... a too-quiet diva? MAYBE he was coached to stick to "yes sirs, appreciate you" phrases, who knows, but it goes to show, no one really knows how this plays out until this fall! Then we repeat the process the next year, and year after that!

Two Former Players Can't Believe Bears Stole Luther Burden
Luther Burden falling into the 2nd round was a genuine shock. The fact Chicago got him has former players giddy with excitement.
