I'm a big Sica/Illini 8 guy.I know not this year but what do you guys think in 2021 starting the same time as Indiana? I found something I thought really happened & checked on my Sica Records in 84.In 1984 with the playoffs getting ready to expand the IHSA let teams who wanted to start a week before Labor Day start early & a handful did.They just took a week off during the other 9 seasons.I am sure it helped with the schedule.I know Joliet Central only had 8 games and played Belleville Althoff giving each of those teams 9.Some CPS started a week early too and a decent handful of area teams.They do that here in TN.Start a week early calling it week 0 then they play 10 games here so 99.9% of teams play a 10 game schedule.What are the thoughts?
