Let's talk 6a bracket.

Abrams (lower extremity injury) has been out for the last couple weeks and is done for the season. I am SHOCKED that some of these so-called high school football experts on this website were not aware that one of the top players in the state on one of the top teams in the state was done for the season. Cary Grove really does a hell of a job keeping that info from the public I guess. #nextmanup
You do realize injured players names being brought up here on Edgy board is forbidden or didn’t you see Edgys thread on the rules.

Peoria Notre Dame 59 Rochester 58 … “Houston, we have a problem”

Curious...what were the first two strikes that went unpunished? The only ones I can think of you are referring to are:

1) The football moms buying two disadvantaged kids a championship ring which was a self reported violation to IHSA. The result was the IHSA stripping them of a win against SHG.

2) The report of a kid not living in district which was unfounded.

Are there others I'm not aware of??
And I’m sure the Rat Boy doesn’t want to discuss the basketball player who made the game-winning shot for SHG over Metamora in the state final. My son was good friends with him while they were at Rochester 🏈 Junior High.

I would like to add that the kids who received rings from the Rochester 🏈 moms were as follows:

A foster kid who was placed by the same agency as children I have fostered in the past

A kid whose family was going through some financial turmoil

And I believe the third child had some financial struggles due to a divorce in the family..

That ring issue was a perfect example of a community coming together to help disadvantaged kids enjoy the fruits of their labor and to not be made to feel left out due to financial difficulties outside of their control. A final note, one of those kids is black. Little Boy Rat’s Trap doesn’t want to talk about that.

I think Edgy has said talking about players and their injuries are off limits. I will say CG has been New England in keeping it quiet.

colin2229 has been yanking your chain (to use an old phrase) for a week now and yet you are still taking his Antioch posts seriously. He is joking about Antioch and having fun at your expense. He is merely messing with you, having fun getting you agitated for some reason, and everyone's best bet is to ignore his Antioch posts. May peace be with you.

By the way, although I'm not positive about this, I don't think colin2229 is even affiliated with Antioch in any capacity whatsoever.
Was fun while it lasted.

Any team that moves up to avoid teams is a coward in my book.

Red Bud Smoked by Johnson City

Two TDs called back, three interceptions - two in the endzone - and many flags, including three in a row, doomed the Musketeers against the top-ranked 2A foe.

The Indian's double wing was a problem too.

“You don’t see many offenses like that any more,” Musketeers coach Dave Lucht bluntly said. “They do a lot of cut-blocking and it’s hard to simulate because you don’t want to get guys injured in practice. I thought we did a good job in the first quarter but when you’ve got nine guys going both ways, you get fatigued.

BYRON at MONTINI?

Years ago Morris and JCA met early in the playoffs a few times being 1 and 2 in their class.
The '99 quarter final game sticks out to me 16-14 JCA after Morris last minute FG goes wide right. JCA walked to the title after that.

Then there was the '05 quarter final game thst involved the RB from Morris that will not be named for fear of making the JCA faithful break out in a cold sweat.

All.... Please good sir a prompt I don't need. But since you asked. The football Gods can only take so much misbehaving and the program not standing up doing the right thing. The latest and third strike without an appropriate penalty (imposed or self administered) could not be ignored. Ratsy

York Diddied Eville - 38-7. GAME

Playoff football is all about matchups, coaching and game planning.
How about letting the narrative be “York is really good this year?” EVille is good as well. They didn’t look to prepare well for this opponent. Takes nothing away from how hard they fought against ESL. It was a great game but still a L on the scoreboard. EVille was a 3 loss 8a school this year. York game planned well and are on to round 2.

This is a a down year for York. They are very one dimensional team
