When is the last time…

Other fun facts... LAs last playoff loss was to Lockport in 2021 in the championship game. MC hasn't lost to a public school in the playoffs since the Nubin game in 2019. Batavia has only lost to two teams in the playoffs the last 7 years (Naz and MC). ESL hasn't lost in the playoffs to a team (not counting the FF season) not called CG or MC since 2014.
MC didn’t lose in 2019.

Generally I get your point, but I don’t know if this particular game supports that sentiment. There really is no way that LWE should have lost tonight with all their talent. I think it may just speak to the experience of the coaches and the attitudes of their programs. Just my thoughts.
My comment was in response to PowerI mentioning all the rematches, not necessarily this specific game.

Just further proof that Illinois is very top heavy when it comes to football talent.

3 teams from the same conference were playing for 3rd consecutive championships? Or the last time a conference had 6 teams playing for championships scattered throughout 5 classes and probably favored in every one of those games?

That is pretty impressive!
The real question is, when is the last time you haven’t sandbagged tuccs?!!!

Very impressive, but no other conference has 24 teams.
