It’s really difficult to say, considering Loyola is a vastly different football team than they were in week one against ESL, and Mount Carmel is a vastly different football team than they were in week 9 against Loyola. Those points aside, ESL beat the 8A champ convincingly, the same 8A champ that beat the 7A champ convincingly. I don’t know who would win head to head right now, but would be unfair not to pick ESL based on what we know.

Interesting note, St. Francis beat 3 state champs this year in regular season. I know it doesn’t mean anything since they lost in semi finals again but pretty crazy.

I guess 8a was a bit more competitive than I expected but that 4th quarter was a snooze fest with both teams were going through the motions. This game was done.

Absolutely has merit. My boys play in Prospect's feeder program....and it is exactly that, a feeder program. I'm not complaining, my boys think it's cool Prospect football players are out there helping coach. But we shouldn't deny the fact that they are feeder programs.

Actually think it's a funny trolling comment by Lynch after the Batavia game, given all the whining Batavia has done.
