New IHSA bylaw proposal seeks to eliminate Prep Bowl

Last year BR didn’t play in the Prep Bowl and a bunch of BR/ CCL posters ripped their coaches for not using the Prep Bowl as a way to prepare for 2024. But now this those same posters at the threat of losing it say it’s no advantage. Which is it? Could you guys get your story straight?

Last week there were threads on this board saying the Prep Bowl is great to prepare underclass players for next year. The Sycamore Principal wrote a by law change that matches up with what CCL fans say on here. You can’t have it both ways.

Also the BR staff didn’t see it as an advantage so they didn’t play in the prep bowl. Writing a rule based on what a few fans say on a message board is crazy

North Suburban

Should be a great atmosphere. Big to have the RB #27 back on the field for the wildcats in the playoff opener. Passing game gets all the headlines but if the cats are able to average 5-6 yards a carry and don’t commit offensive penalties like they did during the first game, going to be extremely difficult to beat. Not sure but guessing LF had some key injuries during their losses as well. that early season 38-7 drubbing of Warren + the win over lville to me showed what a healthy LF team is really capable of
