I’ve watched the Michael Love episode. Like many pods, just hanging out talking. Interesting to hear ML’s football path.Stec went to Naz then walked on at Iowa.

Stec went to Naz then walked on at Iowa.Check out his last two podcasts, Michael Love from Naz and Jermari Harris from Montini.
I believe Stec went to Naz.
The accommodations for some of the teams are some of the worse they've been in all year. Most high schools give better places to get ready. It seems to me I have read over the years that the overwhelming choice on this board for the state championship games is ISU. I remember people saying they preferred ISU over U of I and the same was true when it was held in DeKalb. I would prefer ISU as well as it seems to be a more central location in the state. Plus, the stadium is great and it seems like a better atmosphere than the other two locations.
As far as the drive goes, I think a 2 hour drive isn't too much to ask. And what about the people who would have to travel much farther than 2 hours if the location was DeKalb? I just don't recall a bunch of people here complaining about driving to ISU.
One thing I do know. As men age they think about long drives in a different way. One of the considerations is: how long do I go and where do I get off when I have to go pee pee? LOL!!
I just figured that you looked for a hydrant and lifted your leg.. One of the considerations is: how long do I go and where do I get off when I have to go pee pee? LOL!!
At least you spelled the name correctly - Prep Writer didn't know how.Hilarious!! 😃 😃 I wonder if his name is really Ebenezer. LOL
Mac needs to do something. They’ve lost a lot of their old stomping grounds. The area schools have generally been doing well, and St Anne recently started 8 man.*Speculation only*
Sometimes private schools are gifted donations but they have to be used in certain ways. I.e. Some old rich alumn
dies and leaves a big check but it's for a specific purpose.
Or maybe the upkeep on the old facility was a lot and it just makes sense to build new?
Could be several explanations.
Edit -
Looks like they are undergoing a large capital project that's touching lots of areas. I suppose it (and other projects) are an investment to reverse enrollment trends - or grow tuition base. Maybe they felt facilities aren't meeting demands for the tuition.
Not really a podcast guy. But seems like everyone has them these days lol.
*Speculation only*Aren't their numbers low? Seems like an aggressive move
I was just as shocked as everyone else to hear the Nissen news. I will say this: The President and AD at StL always have a plan. And I can’t say that many of their decisions have come back to bite them in the ass thus far. Time will tell.So back on topic what happened with Nissen?
A lot. And everyone single one of them was taken! It was nuts. How many gas pumps do they have there ??
Not really a podcast guy. But seems like everyone has them these days lol.Any Naz fans listen to Louie Stec podcasts?
How many gas pumps do they have there ??Wallys off of 55 in Pontiac. I think everyone stopped there to/from Bloomington. Ha.
I wouldn't trust that coach as far as I could throw him. He turned Rita's team into an extension of an AAU team then they all bolted leaving the program absolutely bare.
Coach Russell and the Vikings just knocked off undefeated HF at the Team Rose Shootout and Mike O'Brien has them ranked #7....St. Laurence also axed their basketball coach after last season. That guy was doing a pretty good job. They replaced him with his assistant, the ex Rita coach.
