Just wrapped up his Hoops season for the 3A runner up Friars. Here is the latest football recruiting news on O'Laughlin.
"I have offers now from Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Miami of Ohio, Wyoming, Ball State, Toledo and Cincinnati. I've stayed in touch with all of those coaches along with North Dakota State and South Dakota State."
"Several schools are still showing interest. Iowa, Purdue, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Ball State, Penn State, Western Kentucky and Central Florida all send mail and DM me. Almost every one of those schools are planning to visit my school this spring."
"I'm planning to visit Iowa on April 15th. I'm also looking at visiting Miami of Ohio and Cincinnati on April 22nd."
Thoughts on O'Laughlin recruiting: Has some nice offers at this stage and could wind up adding more with a strong spring showing. The larger Power 5 schools will want to see O'Laughlin up close as well as run this spring in person.
