Playoff time! Normally I'd say it's time to end our internecine blood feuds and direct our aggression to the outside world, but the Mustangs had to play nice and get the Crusaders get into the playoffs.
At time of posting, the Prep Bowl playoff games aren't known. Fret not, they will be added when scheduled.
Best of luck to all teams.
UPDATE: No Prep Bowl playoff games this weekend.

Hubs +26 (Extended commentary pick):
I think this one is closer than many expect. Rochelle has their best football team in a long, long time.

For SF I think two things will be key
1.) Will the weather cooperate? Rain is potentially in the forecast, and if there’s a bit of wind with that it could hinder the SF passing attack.

2.) Will Washington play for SF? Went down hard last week, sounds like X-rays are negative but might not be 100%. Looked like a shoulder injury which is tough for receivers. He’s arguably SF’s best receiver (along with Willis), and absolutely their best deep ball threat. Likely is a 4 star prospect type kid. He adds a new dimension to that offense.

If SF can stretch the field on Rochelle, the Hubs will struggle. But if Rochelle keeps things in front of them and this game is played in smaller chunks of yards at a time, the Hubs have way more than a punchers chance at getting the upset. This game makes me nervous.

Al and dw: you're onto something. Gambletron had been Calpreps up until this season when Massey upped their game. If you're really into it, you can see a line move weeks in advance - and without a change in the record of a team (eg: after the Friday night games and before a team's Saturday game) - which means a win or loss versus a previous opponent figures into the algo. Calpreps also uses neutral site but I suspect (no evidence) Massey recognizes home or away status.

After my one point regular season loss to the worthy opposition @pjjp (Damn you Fenwick) and losing a prize from @RockSoup that I wasn't going to get anyways, I find myself in a similar predicament as the Caravan. I lost the regular season in the last week, I'm setting my goals on the end game!

Montini -31- I have know idea who Eureka is but I'm guessing they didn't play the same schedule as Montini

RB -7- SV got in, they are pleased with that.

IC -35- Sure

SL -46- They beat Von Stuben by 70, I guess they can beat CVS by 50. @RockSoup there is a CVS vs SR joke in the 90 playoffs joke I could of made, but I'm not going to.....

SF -26- Battle tested vs Non battle tested

Prairie Ridge -13- What a kick in arse for PR to get Naz in round 1......I think PR will win by 14 but I'm not sold on this. Again Naz is battle tested more so then PR. They beat Rice....but I'll give it to PR on a wet field over Naz.

Carmel -46- Unless they call the Dogs off early

Peoria +15- I like The Hill by 10

Morton +17- PC has had the CCL schedule but I kinda like Morton in a upset here

Batavia -4- I'm giving this the lock of the week. Sorry Crusaders, this is a tough first round draw. I like Batavia at home 28-17.

Rita +28- There is always that one team that you play that you are 100% confident that you have the better team, the advantages and on paper its a no brainer, but in the back of your mind your saying "But it's...." Well for me that's always "But it's St. Rita"....I think MC has the better team this year, they beat them convincingly when both were healthy and 3-0. Now MC is healthyish for week 10, but SR is beat up a bit....MC is coming off a hard loss in a game they knew they could have won....SR feels the same that they should have beat BR but instead it went to hell. So MC -28 seems logical.....but it's St. Rita with nothing to lose......MC wins by 24....yes that means a FG for MC that I'm sure Coach Lynch will attempt after a week of hearing "Why didn't you kick the FG????". Go Caravan!

LA -40- Easy 49-7.

JT West +29- They are 8-1...I know the schedule isn't strong and Iggy is rolling but they had to do something right..... so I'll happily take 29.

Much of this week is a study of if and when the favorites call off the dogs. And that depends upon a team having a skilled, trusted defense, as well as the individual coach's definition of mercy.
3A
Broncos scores often, sends the Hornets home with some delicious eats.
4A
Lions are Jekyll and Hyde. Mike Noll will be ready. Don't let me down Lions.
Immaculate Recuperation Knights.
A rematch of the 1974 Prep Bowl! Vikes handled them 34-zip then and will do it again.
5A
Sparty brotherly combo is capable ... guessing they get carried away by their pep band and open it up.
I see the Roadrunners beating this spread.
Corsairs open it up like Red Grange against Michigan.
Pure guess, but the Lions can keep this tight.
Cogs was friends with Morton's coach, so I'll take the Potters to cover.
7A
Bulldogs and they might bring their own refs.
Might not see this matchup for a bit. Mustangs are capable of covering.
8A
I don't see how the Ramblers don't cover.
The 24 seed is favored by 29 points over the 9 seed. On the road. Wolfpack.

Well, well, well, that was some week on the board.

Nice to see some long time prognosticators hit the winners' circle.

refref, TLone and the Chairman of the pick'em led the field with 9 out of 13 correct.

The rest of us were so bad, that only escc fan and tux gained on the field with the aforementioned winners

Par was 7.214

Interesting fact: Tony Gwynn struck out 188 times in the whole decade of the 1990s.

Without further ado, the Week 10 Scoreboard:

And for the season long tally: Seems as if PJ wants to make this race dramatic. Returning champ McCar takes the lead! Escc fan told us he was going for that win place show medal and after 1 week in the post-season, he has delivered.
