And LED lights and a video board. I like the lights. I don't care so much for the light show but their lower focus makes the play on the field so much more pleasant to watch.
admittedly, this place looks cool from the outside. Once you get through the unnecessary hassle provided by the CPL Redcoat security folks, the experience is pretty awful. The stands are falling apart. There are few working toilets. The concession stand is hit or miss on when it is open. The speakers are inaudible. They did finally fix the scoreboard that had 10 working lights. Best advice is to hit up the White Castle across the street for a Crave Case, bring a camp chair and sit outside the north endzone and watch through the gates.
HUGE renovations at Minooka awesome home field advantage as well....very quickly it's become a top spot
Duchon Field big downfall is no night games.
For night games there it would be easily the states best. Great places to eat in downtown Glen Ellyn before the game and places to have a drink and take a walk after the game. Downtown is a short walk from the field.
If they had Friday night games this place blows everyone else away.
