And LED lights and a video board. I like the lights. I don't care so much for the light show but their lower focus makes the play on the field so much more pleasant to watch.I think Coal City got turf this year...
admittedly, this place looks cool from the outside. Once you get through the unnecessary hassle provided by the CPL Redcoat security folks, the experience is pretty awful. The stands are falling apart. There are few working toilets. The concession stand is hit or miss on when it is open. The speakers are inaudible. They did finally fix the scoreboard that had 10 working lights. Best advice is to hit up the White Castle across the street for a Crave Case, bring a camp chair and sit outside the north endzone and watch through the gates.Lane Tech
Only one vehicle exit (and entrance, for that matter) is a royal pain.Andrew has a super nice stadium !
No longer called that but yes, it was that for yearsShuey Stadium (sp?)..The RB campus is in Riverside..the stadium is in Brookfield.
HUGE renovations at Minooka awesome home field advantage as well....very quickly it's become a top spotHave you seen Minooka's Scoreboard pretty incredibel too !
Can't believe no one's mentioned Glenbard West's Duchon Field. Great setting, next door to Lake Ellyn and surrounded by picturesque homes. Green grass, no lights - Duchon is the ultimate throwback stadium. That's what makes #1 in my mind.
The skyline view is amazing, the overall seating for fan experience is not the best thoughHogwarts, aka St Ignatius
