Not at the game as family is in town. Watching a little on NFHS…..Neuqua’s D is really coming of age and getting borderline nasty. It’s the best NV D, from a speed and athleticism standpoint, that I’ve seen and I’ve been here since year 2 for the school.

15 game regular season winning streak. Last loss was the Gronowski-led 2019 team that got thumped @ HF.

Metea hung around most of the 1st half, their defense played pretty well. But man, Neuqua’s D just ate them up.

Metea hung around most of the 1st half, their defense played pretty well. But man, Neuqua’s D just ate them up.

They did. They moved the ball a bit but the 40yd dart Mennecke threw for a TD that was called back skewed things a bit. The fumble a few possessions later didn’t help either.

Didn’t matter a whole lot. As you said, Neuqua smothered their offense and didn’t allow them any space at all.
