Probably a bit harder to find since it wouldn't be a point of pride, but anyone know of any of the longest losing streaks in the state?

Currently, there were 33 winless playoff eligible teams in 2019. Of those, 7 were winless in 2018, 2 year losing streaks (5 of those were 1-8 in 17). There are 2 more winless in 2018 & 2017, with 3 year winless streaks- Waukegan & Sullivan. And Litchfield appears to be on the longest current losing streak, 4 years (4-5 in 15).

But even better than a regular season streak Driscoll won 35 straight playoff games.

If it wasn't for Joliet Central's 57-game losing streak referenced in an above post, Rich South would have been approaching that level. RS had a several season stretch going winless or just 1 win and that one came over Joliet Central two times, I believe.

I think Bloom had a pretty noteworthy losing streak. Glad to see them turn it around.

The consolidation of the 3 Rich Township programs into 1 starting this season will not make the Bloom path any easier.

My alma mater, the Blue Demons of Maine East, is currently riding a 26-game losing streak. They last won August 25, 2017 against Schurz. In fact, Schurz is the only team they have beaten in the last five seasons, having done so twice. Maine East's record over the last five years is 2-43.
