Listed below are my 2025 running list of tight end prospects to watch including my quick take on several of the players listed here who I've seen in person either this past season or at various camps etc. No mention or comment on a specific prospect yet? No worries I'll be breaking down all of the names listed here via film/camp observations. Stay tuned.
Offensive Linemen Class of 2025
OL Michael McDonough Andrew 6-foot-3, 270 pounds 2025- Impressive interior linemen who has a great combination of quickness. strength, power and flexibility and a player who just seems to get bigger and stronger. Is already holding multiple D1 level scholarship offers.
OL Andy Mlyniec Lake Community 6-foot-4, 275 pounds 2025
OL Tyler Palmieri Mascoutah 6-foot-3, 245 pounds 2025
OL Nathaniel Olo Mascoutah 6-foot-3, 310 pounds 2025
OL Zion Young Fenwick 6-foot-4, 250 pounds 2025
OL Zayn Schellenger Highland 6-foot-5, 235 pounds 2025
OL Jake Sulzberger Lemont 6-foot-5, 260 pounds 2025
OL Cort Leonard Iroquois West 6-foot-3, 240 pounds 2025
OL Victor Nealon Rockford East 6-foot-4, 270 pounds 2025
OL Matt Marek Sandburg 6-foot-4, 280 pounds 2025- Is another idea sized interior linemen to watch. Marek played tackle in 2023 and did a good job of attacking and was able to lock up several top DL in 2023. Still has work to do including adding more good size and muscle but Marek's feet balance and quickness was impressive this past season.
OL Jazarari Jackson Hillcrest 6-foot-3, 280 pounds 2025
OL Sam Stec Nazareth Academy 6-foot-2, 260 pounds 2025
OL Chimoabi Oguike Marmion Academy 6-foot-3, 240 pounds 2025
OL Stefan Popov Waubonsie Valley 6-foot-3, 250 pounds 2025
OL Rhett VanBoening Libertyville 6-foot-3, 260 pounds 2025- Seems like I've been watching Rhett for a long time having hung out and around his older brother Trenton VanBoening (EMU) for years. Rhett doesn't have the tackle length or frame os his older brother, but instead keeps developing into a very solid and technically strong interior linemen in this class. Van Boening has a great base and feet, understands thre importance of bend and leverage and is very capable to taking on all comers. Keeps getting better each time I've seen him in person.
OL Tyler Chambers Lyons Township 6-foot-5, 265 pounds 2025- Saw Chambers live over the past tewo seasons and he is also a name to watch here. Chambers has good size and length and also showed to have good power in 2023. Chambers also still has work to di but he has the tools and potential to play at a pretty high level in college.
OL Tommy Lamberti Carmel Catholic 6-foot-8, 330 pounds 2025- Maybe the largest high school ageed individual I've ever seen in person. Lamberti has again impressive sixe and strength and is a bit more mobile than I expected in person. Lamberti no question will need to continue to drop some weight and get into terrific shape this off season...but in a class lacking true tackle size with a good winter and spring Tommy Lamberti could become a potential Power 5 name to watch in this class. Plays with a chip and a terrific motor as well.
OL Dontrall Fort Rockford Jefferson 6-foot-5, 310 pounds 2025
OL Owen Lee Carbondale 6-foot-5, 295 pounds 2025- Powerful kid who is heavy handed and showed to have a terrific punch. Plays with a chip and is always looking to get to the second level blocks. Needs to get into better overall shape and cut some weight along with getting better overall feet and quickness. Raw kid here but shows enough onn tape to draw more looks this winter and spring.
OL Ben Konopka St Viator 6-foot-2, 270 pounds 2025
OL Dayne Schellenger Greenville 6-foot-6, 290 pounds 2025
OL Zak Stoilov Maine South 6-foot-4, 285 pounds 2025- Zac is an impressive overall linemen who saw limited action in 2023 due to injury. I was able to see Stoilov in person in 2023 and liked his overall combination of quickness, power and technique and I'm looking for2ward to seeing his progression this off season. Has D1 potential.
OL Parker Brault Palatine 6-foot-4, 275 pounds 2025- Another ideal sized interior OL who showed to have terrific hands and punch, gets out of his stance quickly and plays with a major chip and also a high motor at all times. Brault has good bend and leverage, finishes his blocks well and looks to get to the next level of blocks on every play. Has D1 ability and potential.
OL Javy Bey Homewood Flossmoor 6-foot-3, 290 pounds 2025
OL/DL Gil Mendoza 6-foot-4, 275 pounds 2025
OL Bradyn Mazanowski Normal Community 6-foot-4, 245 pounds 2025
OL Jacob Benson Hononegah 6-foot-4, 290 pounds 2025
OL Jonathan Hayes Montini Catholic 6-foot-2, 265 pounds 2025
OL Brunner Inman Nashville 6-foot-4, 260 pounds 2025
OL Thomas Klos Fenton 6-foot-2, 290 pounds 2025
OL Michael Lynch Joliet Catholic 6-foot-4, 290 pounds 2025- Was part of a very young and very strong JCA OL in 2023. Lynch played tackle in 2023 but I see him as a college ready sized interior OL. Lynch has impressive power strength and punch and also has very good overall balance and good feet. Just a lot to like here.
OL Dylan Richmond Rich Township 6-foot-5, 290 pounds 2025
