What a great game! Hand up here, I predicted Montini by 2 scores and Byron gave them all they could handle. Best game I witnessed all season. Great crowd, Byron earned my respect, played great as a team.
Sounds like you were one of the clowns on Byron’s sideline screaming at the kids in pregame. I’ve never heard that kind of malice in a high school game. Certainly didn’t mind it when you were beating up on every team in the state 65-7 did you?
Over the last 4 years, Byron has had to travel to IC catholic. 2 years in a row. And then the next 2 years, Montini.
They were the lower seed once. I just think there should be a better way. Just like everyone said that today shouldn’t happen today. And that it should have been a finals or semis. Is there a better way to seed these teams? We all know Montini isn’t a 9th seed.
It sucks but if you get into seeding by new metrics do you also get into classification by new metrics?
Current method with 1-32 would be a great start though.
Don’t know what was most annoying, the cowbell, the techno music, the neighing horse, or the screaming fan yelling “stick him” any time Byron ran a play. lol.
