Viator job is open and he’s a Viator alum…Very very very impressive young coach. That place is going to explode with him.
I am not going to make excuses for Williams when he doesn't play well. But both the QBs you mention are also on better teams. The Bears, as an organization, suck! It was said right in the beginning that Williams will struggle at times. But the fact is, whatever happened during the last game, in the end Williams got his team in position to win that game, period. That is any QBs job.Seems to be working out ok for Daniels and Nix. Hell even Maye has looked better in limited action on a terrible team.
Funny how everyone was ready to anoint him before he took a single snap, but when he's not good then we can't judge him based on only 10 games.
Transferred to Marist and was starting QB this season. What happened to the projected starting QB for LWE until Bolingbrook came calling? How many years was he in the LWE program and feeders waiting his turn?
The following question is posed merely as a matter of curiosity. Why do people on this thread periodically refer to Gambletron, when the predictions come from CalPreps?
Really, really bad. You made fun of Special Olympics participants. Maybe you're not aware, but that's what came across. Abandon any future thoughts in this regard..Dick, let me explain it to you. I’m a Carmel guy, and I said that Rita finished fourth in the special Olympics. I was trying to be a little creative, not using the pizza joke. Problem is, I don’t think the Rita guys got it.
I think CG’s O-Line this year is better than last years state team. That might be the reason why they haven’t had any setbacks offensively with their FB being out since week 5This years defense is probably one of the better defenses I’ve seen them have especially discipline wise very fast as usual if the fullback being gone impacts the yards after contact I could see estl getting a decent amount of stops if that matchup does happen

On paper ESL should win 6a, but what we learned was that the option really has given ESL trouble. I think the hardest part for ESL is teaching the players how to defend it. That’s why I’ve asked fellow ESL guys on here how many guys are back on defense from last years team, bc I feel that has a big impact. ESL has a lot of talent to stop them a couple times solely with really good athletes and not having to play option teams in the past or schedule, that’s how good their athletes are. Coach seaburg has them running the option so efficiently and with discipline with so much detail.

You guys respect your opponents as do we. But in that first matchup in 2021, nobody from the media and many on this board gave CG no chance. In fact many suggested CG stay home. That’s all I’m saying.

Honestly we should just wait for this conversation until the weekend. We don’t even know if they’re going to play each other yet.A team wins a lot of games to get to state. Anyone who says a team has no chance in a title game is tripping.
A team wins a lot of games to get to state. Anyone who says a team has no chance in a title game is tripping.According to everyone.
single handedly is a stretch too for LB3, only WR who I’ve seen single handedly beat CG was the man the myth the legend Laquan Tredwell who was the #1 WR in the country. He destroyed CG in the 2012 state title game and that was a very good CG team. Superman from PR as well but he had the ball every play as he was the QBEhh that’s a stretch because burden almost single-handedly won that game to be completely honest Cary grove has been about a play or two away from losing those games but that’s a conversation for another day
According to everyone.According to whom
On paper yes, reality noAccording to whom
According to whomSure but CG also wasn’t supposed to have any chance to win that game. Should have been a blowout.
Just got a text from Hick - he says he will be there. He has not.
