Taylor is a stud. CG will have their hands full for sure.I will say, I'd love to see Charles Bass v Taylin Taylor heads up!

Well it’s not really up for debate. He’s the #2 ranked player in the state and going to Georgia.
I wasn’t referring to the best player on the field. I’m just saying theirs a higher possibility for CG defense to stop Geneva offense than Geneva stopping the option.Well it’s not really up for debate. He’s the #2 ranked player in the state and going to Georgia.
That’s all I’m saying too - looking forward to this one.If CG gets their touches, they’ll score. Geneva will score too. No predictions and I expect a battle.
I’m seem to remember LB3 being the best WR in state and CG faired well. Anything can happen right?Well it’s not really up for debate. He’s the #2 ranked player in the state and going to Georgia.

We shall see…A ton at all the right spots. And they will have the best player on the field.
Looking back at his college film he was someone who was always fired upHe would also come down and talk to the JR program. After hearing his speech’s everyone would be ready to strap on a helmet again.

He was on that 2004 state final team. He set the standard. Before his passing he would train with a lot of CG players.

How many players from last years team are on the team still? You are WAY ahead of yourself here boss. Geneva has a fantastic team this year and can certainly beat CG.
Jonas, he’s the difference from the past two years….big time. Home or away not sure it would matter.I think LWE is very very good at home. Does anyone have there home record over let’s say the past 10 years? I have been to a few games this year and they look the part. I see that LA has improved from the beginning of the season when they lost big to ESL. Just an observation because since East played MS there first game they have also improved. Not a surprise since a seriously doubt any team in the playoffs has gotten worse. This is going to be a good game. Two of the top programs in the state how could it not be. 😊
Correct, I don’t think Geneva will be able to stop the option, CG coaches will have that defense prepared. But let’s wait to have this ESL vs CG conversation at about 4-5pm Saturday idk what time ESL plays at.Anything is possible this is high school football, Geneva will have their hands full, will have to score time they touch the ball.

Is it that they beat the only good team they played this year, Naperville Central, by “only” 28-7? Is it that LWE was unbeatable in 2018? Is it that LWE had the best D in history of 8A last year? Is it that LA hasn’t played anywhere close to a complete game this year? I am struggling to see a close game here given LWE offense.

I had him as a 4th grader playing middleweight, which was mainly 6th graders, and I made a comment, Who's this West kid, he's big and really athletic, but he sure is goofy. That was when I was informed he was two years younger than the rest of the team.
It will be interesting if he makes the league. That would make 2 pro athletes from the 2018 Championship team, Addison and Quinn Priester with the Red Sox.
Going against your own team. FredoSoup. Take your shitty playlist to another teams box next year. Think that was inevitable anyways.NND +14 I'm officially on the Don bandwagon. I think their game matches up well vs Iggy and we are treated to an exciting back and forth affair
Montini +3 The line reminds me of when my Pops ran a confidence pool at the tavern for the neighborhood degens back in the day with the teaser spread for the College bowl games. You'd think swinging a line 10 points was easy pickings. It was not.
DeP +4 Not exactly confident with the Rams being on the road but they have had an exceptional year and cannot see it ending this weekend.
Naz -13 Hurts me to do this to my new Spartan friends but taking the 'runners seniors at home over the young St. Francis squad. I will justify it to my new friends by telling them I am only doing this to counteract Tuccs Holtzian posts this week.
JCA -35 I am done going opposite the Hilltoppers. They are rough and tumble to the outside looking in but actually explosive enough to keep crushing these spreads each week
MC -10 A little recency bias has infected a handful of pickers out there in Edgyland between St. Rita's impressive third quarter vs Quincy and Mt. Carmel's closer-than-expected shave vs the Ironmen last weekend. Hoping it's a close game into the 4th quarter and if it is, Mt. Carmel has proven they don't mind scoring all the way up to the 0:00 mark. So a backdoor cover is always in play even if the action on the field is more of a slobber-knocker
LA +7 No team has benefitted more from a week one opponent than the Ramblers have from their Flyer drubbing in August. Will they win, who knows, but they are better today than nearly 3 months ago
Seems to be working out ok for Daniels and Nix. Hell even Maye has looked better in limited action on a terrible team.It is beyond me how anyone can throw a rookie QB under the bus after 10 games. Especially when the guy gets no protection when passing. They just throw the guy in there with very little preseason playing time and expect a Rookie Of The Year performance and with some of the play calling? Yeah outside the new OC, the coaches DO suck. Especially the HC. BTW do you still think this is a playoff team?

What. The. Heck. My whole life has been a lie. No way. Out with your blasphemy. Its full name is actually Gambletron 3000 tho. So there. The following question is posed merely as a matter of curiosity. Why do people on this thread periodically refer to Gambletron, when the predictions come from CalPreps?
