BYRON at MONTINI?

I dont see that. Both teams are similar to last year. It may go down to who has the ball l

Montini by 3+ scores, anyone that thinks otherwise hasn’t been paying attention.
Im sure Montini's kids are thinking the same thing since mighty Byron has struggled this season. What Montini's players don't understand is Byron didn't have their main running back/Middle Linebacker for most of the season. Kids don't grasp what they can't see like adults and Im sure they read boards like these and seeing crazy posts where Montini is going to win by 3 scores. They will believe it because they see it. They will get a lesson in indoctrination vs. reality!!!!

New IHSA bylaw proposal seeks to eliminate Prep Bowl

I say expand the concept....

Southland Bowl (JC/PC/MaCath/Mac v SWP, SWCC, Southland, SSC)
West Bowl (ACC, MA, STF, Mon, Naz, Ben, ICC v U8, WSG/S, DVC, Dukane)
Northern Bowl (Boylan, MCC, Ed, Via, CC, NND v FVC, Northern Lake, Kish, NoSL, MSL, CSL)

St Lawrence, Loyola and Fenwick could go either way given their old school CCL pedigree but being situated in suburbs.

BYRON at MONTINI?

Not sure where I stand on this game yet.

Byron’s offense is tough to prepare for when you only see it once a year. Byron has seen a few really good spread offenses this year.

Montini playing at home in turf is a big plus for them as opposed to playing on the grass in the cornfields of Byron.

I’m leaning towards Montini as they have the revenge factor going for them.
Bracket has set up pretty much perfectly for Montini. They get to play Byron at home, and if they move on, looks like they’ll get the semifinal at home also.

Player of the Year candidates?

Dierre Hill had three carries, two touchdowns and 123 yards in the first round.
All.... If you could bring him young Mr. Hill back in a time machine with the style of football when Hickey was playing. Who is first pick on your Crusader team between the two? Same question if Hickey in his high school prime was teleported into year 2024. Ratsy P.S. And yes I have been watchung sci fi movies as of late.

Peoria Notre Dame 59 Rochester 58 … “Houston, we have a problem”

Curious...what were the first two strikes that went unpunished? The only ones I can think of you are referring to are:

1) The football moms buying two disadvantaged kids a championship ring which was a self reported violation to IHSA. The result was the IHSA stripping them of a win against SHG.

2) The report of a kid not living in district which was unfounded.

Are there others I'm not aware of??
All.... Quit trying to put lipstick on this pig. (lol) "appropriate penalty" look it up if you don't know what those words mean.

Ring gate..... Should of been several forfeits but the Ihsa loves your little darlings and kept it to just one with their warped thinking decision. And the self reporting was because a certain coach (non football) at RHS was raising a big stink and the word was out . It was spreading like a wild fire in Rocket town. It was going to get out. RHS had to limit the damage by doing so.

2. The kid. When the decision came down on that one he no longer could play for RHS. Sigh .... off to SHG he went. Oy....

And let's not forget number three the one of course you didn't reference. This latest one. A little tap on the finger. But those that read the investigative report (available to anyone) aren't going to forget words in the report.... assault and aggravated battery.

Hmmm..... "Are there others I'm not aware of." You tell me.... Ratsy
