The last three minutes of the game were unexplainable. Both teams made unforced turnovers to put their respective team in a very bad position. Coalers were the better team most of the game but neither could say they were at their best in those last minutes. Kind of crazy but at least the Dukes were the ones who made the last mistake.

Yesterday’s game at Hollywood was very well attended for all to witness the battle of the “better than average.” LA earned a one week moratorium on equipment turn in.

Both teams are well coached as always, but neither team IMHO have the stones to go any further. Neither team tackles very well. I felt like our QB didn’t have that great of a day. Our play calling was “meh”. I agree with the previous posters who suggested Hollywood should let Bliss call plays. Similarly, I was not impressed by the QB play for LA either.
Tinseltowns O-line was the deciding factor in this game. Our O-line was just as big and just as athletic, however the comparison ends there.

Love Bobby and his whole Family, also love Racki and his entire crew. This game is tough especially since they played each other once already this year. There have been few teams that have been able to beat a Racki team twice in the same year. At this point my lean would be Naz for the win, but not ready to make that call quite yet. I will make a call later this week.

I'm less inclined to criticize Carmel's defense than to commend Normal's highly proficient offense. Look at their margins of victory: 33, 41, 56, 42, 59, etc. This was a high-scoring team that went 10-1 for a reason. The difference in this game was Jack Elliott, who will be the difference in the next game too.

DCP even offers direct college prep courses in alignment with DP University curriculums. Our students have the option to earn College credits while in HS, towards DP University
