A 4-star QB just showed up to the first day of camp, no one knew. But what about the public schools that recruit like LWE?

But what about the public schools that recruit like LWE?The easiest solution to all of this is to just split the the leagues. Very easy at this point and then the publics can go down to 5 or 6 classes and privates can have 2 or 3.
No need for success criteria, multiplier, etc. Schools that can recruit plays schools who can recruit. Public schools play all publics under the same rules
Ya, two games in and it looks much better. Need to still get more points earlier in game but Caleb looks way way more comfortable against better comp.I like him as OC
Where did you go?Which school? I also was an OG PSLer
Luther North RIPWhich school? I also was an OG PSLer
Ya they got punched in the mouth and seemingly never could recover, props to naz.I was surprised at how physically imposing Naz looked compared to SF on Saturday. SF never had a chance.
Damn you’re in the building? Would have never guessed that. His job is to coach football and that is it. Personally, I see nothing wrong with that at all. To say he does anything else outside of that is pushing it. Everything you said is related to being the football coach, players coming in during the day, teachers coming in to discuss players grades and behavior etc.. he’s not teaching, he’s not in admissions, he’s not in advancement. Although he is their biggest recruiter the school has and his program/boosters raise the most money and he doesn’t even have to lift a finger so kudos to him.I’ll only speak on what I know, but he sees and interacts with those kids just as much as any one of the teachers does on a daily basis. And I’m not sure which Catholic high schools you’re familiar with, but the ones I am do not have TA’s, librarians, or much of any “support staff”. Coaches and teachers are your support staff.
Geneva’s HC Boone Thoregson is my pick for Coach of the Year.
Big fan of what he’s accomplished in his short time at Geneva and especially this year.
Your opinion is based on not knowing much about Geneva.
Every time ESL plays up in Chicagoland I try to see them play. I’ve seen them several times over the years and am very familiar with their program.
I realize in most years my comment on another team’s WR group over ESL’s group is ridiculous but not this year with Geneva’s group.
Doesn’t mean they are going to win bc I’d take ESL at pretty much every other position.
If Geneva is going to have any shot in this game their WR’s are going to have to beat man coverage all day and score 40+ points. That might not even be enough.
I look forward to seeing how their WR group can matchup up for 4 quarters vs the ESL secondary and how the pass pro holds up.
Undisciplined public school fans. Nothing worse.
Your opinion is based on not knowing much about Geneva. It’s just grossly overstated and a bit reckless is all. I don’t know much about Geneva outside of Taylor, much like you obviously are not fully aware of ESL’s.
mtz was offered and turned the invite downMt. Zion would make a great addition to the CS8. Along with a returning Taylorville, they would make school #s 13 and 14 in the CS8 once the Apollo inevitably folds. Charleston, Mattoon and Mahomet could go to the B12 which leaves only Effingham needing to find a home.
14 teams in the CS8 could easily be handled given the East-West split. C-G could slide to the West division to accommodate MTZ and T'ville.
Probably notMC could have beaten anyone last night--Loyola, LWE, ESL, anyone.
And Joliet as wellThere are teams out of Texas, Florida, Georgia, California and other states that are too.
Were you anywhere near the F bomb lady? Yikes. Embarrassing. Hope the admin there take care of that.WIU78
I set behind a Kid that was blowing that horn all game. He was probably 5-6 and the parents were obviously oblivious! Terrible. Listen I am close to retirement but man that is tough to take. Just saying. East needs to get control of this 💩. I get cheering totally fine. Those horns are annoying and should be banned from any sporting event. It’s not (IMO) fair to any of the fans home or away.
Results playing in Frankfort: LA 1, LWE 0And the results playing in Frankfort are? Let’s pack the stadium folks of HS football. Just head south on LaGrange avenue until you see cows…then do a U-turn and head back north 1 mile to Lincoln-Way East.
