Palatine (Ill.) junior three star ranked wide receiver recruit Jacob Bostick (6-foot-3, 165 pounds) has recently added some impressive FBS level scholarship offers, an impressive feat while still not having played any junior football season. Bostick checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news and more in this update. .

"I am so ready to go next Friday" Bostick said. "I'm just really excited to get out and play again. We are coming a long in practices and we still have a few things to work and improve on but we will get there."

One thing is evident these days and that is Bostick's recruiting stock is on a serious rise this early spring.

"It's been crazy lately. It feels like every day I'm in contact with a new college coach along with staying in touch with the coaches who have been recruiting me. Some of the newer schools who have been really recruiting me harder has been Minnesota, Illinois, Pitt and also Vanderbilt reached out this week. All of the schools are still waiting to see my early junior season video and as soon as I get a few games under my belt I'll send that a long right away."

Has Bostick given any thought to making any type of official or unofficial visits this summer?

"I've thought about getting out to visit schools a little bit. I know some of the college programs are starting to schedule some official visits but until the NCAA changes the dead period no one will be able to make visits. I'm still doing a lot of different Zoom visits. I just did a two day Zoom visit with Kent State. Navy also has been discussing visits and also doing something online soon."

Does Bostick have any interest in the service academy after adding recent offers from both Navy and Army?

"It's a different route to go and I'm open at looking into both Navy and Army. I'm planning to look into both programs harder and try to learn more about it."

Bostick also discussed his personal goals for his upcoming season.

"The first goal is to go 6-0 this spring. I'm more of a game to game goal setter and I look back at my first game, make adjustments and corrections and move forward."

Jacob Bostick has multiple scholarship offers.

My Take on Jacob Bostick's recruiting: Bostick is a big time athlete with a ton of speed and burst, has great hands and a huge catch radius. Bostick will end up becoming a highly sought after name both in the Midwest and beyond this spring and summer. Look for more looks and more offers to flow in once his spring season video it's the street. Bostick has drawn heavy recent attention from several Big Ten schools and I get the feeling he would be a very good fit at the Big Ten level. Bostick has a terrific off the field personality and will be a great fit in any top tier program, and Bostick has a good chance of becoming more of a nationally sought after name this spring and early summer.
