Chicago (Ill.) Marist junior defensive back recruit Robert Topps (6-foot-2, 182pounds) made a weekend visit to Wisconsin. Topps also added two new offers from Nevada and Bowling Green on Tuesday.

"I visited Wisconsin on Saturday" Topps said. "I also added offers today (Tuesday) from Nevada and Bowling Green. The coaches from both schools made an in school visit today."

Smalling recapped his Saturday visit to Wisconsin.

"I visited Wisconsin on Sunday and it went really well. It was my first visit to Wisconsin and I really liked the campus and the facilities and it's just an impressive school. I was able to watch a spring practice. Wisconsin has sent a ton of guys to the league (NFL) and that's pretty impressive. The Wisconsin coaches asked me to stay in touch and that they will be making an in school visit next week."

Another Big Ten power program has also started to reach out to Topps.

"Michigan State has been showing more interest. I've just been in touch recently and they want me to come out sometime soon for a visit."

Topps for now is focused on school along with what is shaping up to be a busy spring evaluation period.

"It's going to be pretty busy in school this month according to my coaches at school. It's cool to see all of the college coaches in the halls and I'm just focused on school. I don't have any visits set for now."

Robert Topps has multiple scholarship offers.

My Take on Robert Topps recruiting? Not totally surprised to see more and more schools offer Topps. Topps is a big body defensive back who could play either corner and safety and those kids are very rare to say the least.
