"It's been the dead period so recruiting has been a hit slower. I've had a few college coaches contact me with a holiday text but outside of that it's been quiet."
"I've been invited to some college junior day events. I'm thinking about checking out ISU and Nebraska. I'm going to the Underclassmen Showcase in McCook in January along with the Northwestern showcase later in the summer. My Dad and I are still sorting out my schedule."
"Schools such as Toledo, South Dakota, and New Mexico State have been in contact pretty recently. South Dakota is the latest to reach out."
"We report back to school January 8th and we had some college coaches visit us before break. NIU and Illinois State both stopped into school and they talked with my coaches in school."
Thoughts on Brock Griffin recruiting: Big kid here who's recruiting stock will get a boost later this winter and spring. Has a lot to offer including having decent mobility for a kid who's 6-foot-4, 295 pounds.
