Summary of 2025 classes??

A favor for the board. I've heard some thing in drips and drabs but would love a summary in one place.

Can anyone confirm with catholic schools will be changing classes next year based on success factors/ waivers/enrollment, etc.

So far I've heard the following, no idea if any are true

- CMC to 8A
- Depaul to 6 or 7A
- JCA to 6A
- Rita down to 6A
- Montini to 5 or 6A
- BAC to 3A

Chicago Christian to 3A (Maybe borderline 4A)
St Laurence to 6A

Not Catholic, but I believe University High Normal will bump up to 5A as a non-boundary public without a waiver now as well.

I believe Rice and Marist are dropping down.
No way Montini goes to 6A, they get the multiplier back so whatever that is.

Montini could border 5A, but 4A looks more likely.

Looks like Rockford Boylan and Quincy Notre Dame will get waived next cycle as well. Should be about 3A/2A respectively then?

I believe you are correct about Rita. I do believe, though, they will petition to 7A for another two-year cycle.

All.... QND will be Catholic Taxed and for the new cycle be in Class 4A. Ratsy

No CCL team (except for the tinies) should be below 6A -- certainly incuding Montini.

You're right. I was looking at wrong 2 year period. QND stays as is. Boylan catholic does look like they'll lose multiplier though.

IC loses their multiplier and looks like middle of 2A.
