I also posted this on our Minnesota site.
Plays for Providence Catholic and was injured in Game 1 last season obviously had very little tape so was very under the radar. Minnesota staff saw him workout a week or so ago, offers him on Monday of this week and committed last night.
Great size kid (6-foot-2, 220 pounds) who has a great combination of size, speed and terrific quickness and instincts. Smart kid (Ivy League grades) who really was only missing game film...otherwise he would have blown up big time I believe. Was on several other Big Ten school's radar screen.
I've known PJ since he was a junior WR at Kaneland HS and many of his staff in some cases for over 10-15 years...and one thing to know about Fleck and his recruiting style....this is the type of kid he will always recruit and go after hard....he's never ben afraid of roll dice on occasion and this is a kid that no question has all the attributes of becoming a nice sleeper "get" for him.
Hope this helps.
