For years I had a passion for Baby Ruth, but my affinity for the bar vanished after I saw Caddyshack.
Shortly after, I began to overindulge in a fine Swiss chocolate, Frey, and later Leonidas, a Belgian delicacy. My gratification with these two thrived until I discovered I would need to govern the urge due to the untimely arrival of diabetes.
For those interested, Leonidas has three small cafes in the area, one is at the SE corner of Chicago Avenue and Rush Street downtown. Two other stores are in Evanston and Northbrook. I highly recommend a visit.
