Again we had a very big transfer go down over the weekend when Libertyville WR Blaise LaVista tweeted out that he was transferring to LW East for next season. This hit the free board very quickly and then the thread almost immediately went south so it was launched. Its very difficult to allow a free board that's open to all thoughts etc but when it gets as heated as this one got so fast.....I have no other recourse in my mind than to kill it and move on.
Again we are talking about high school kids and families and that fact always gets lost in these deals. I've taken enough heat over the past....what 30 years now.... from players coaches parents administrators and the like for allowing those conversations to go on. I'm pretty much done with any conversations regarding high school players/parents and transferring schools anymore. Once a kid is enrolled/on the roster in a different school I'm more than willing to talk about the player and the impact of the move to one program or another....but otherwise the talk regarding off school is going to be very limited. I hope you at least understand my stance on this
