Last Chance U for High Schools?

It would have to be a public that is on the fringes of football respectability, but only because it gets back players within it's district who flushed out of the CCL or ESCC plus has lenient residency checks or below SES level open enrollment.

To think they were once the nerd school of the old CPS Southeast Conference.
Yep in all sports. Since 2010 the turn around for them began with track. It would be the equivalent of a school like Jones becoming a powerhouse in most sports

If it had to be an Illinois school, I'd probably go with Tuscola. Great coach, strong ties to community, long tradition of success. Always in the hunt.

But my overall #1 choice would be Miami Edison. Great program in a horrible neighborhood, with a great tradition for churning out top college and pro players and changing lots of lives.

Connection to Uncle Luke (from 2 Live Crew) doesn't hurt either.

That area doesn't seem to have a lot of basic suburban high schools (except for a now infamous HS where A. Rizzo went) it's either some public's with similar issues as Edison, areas checked out of football demographically, or the private powerhouses like American Heritage, Thomas Aquinas, Christopher Columbus etc. With the new influx of people post COVID, I wonder if there will be critical mass enough for higher end public's in SoFla or at least a larger constituency for charters/SES

Florida's education system is crazy bad for public schools. You will probably see more private/charters open.

Netflix kind of did this already with "Titletown" Think thats the name. Followed Valdosta HS players/team for a season with a big name coach. Didn't think it was bad. Would prolly need to do a well known school from Tx, Ca, or Fl to start to get peoples attention.

To make it interesting I would Pick 3-4 different programs this way the content would be relatable.
-Private School/ MC/ Loyola
-Inner City School /ESL/Simeon/MP
-Suburban program / Lincoln Way/ Batavia

Other than above I would be excited to see any program highlighted on last chance U
