Normally in D1 you get five years to play four. If there is no 2020 season, it will most likely be six to play four. Which means except for those gifted juniors that can leave, everybody’s coming back in 2021 for their last year. If the number remains at 85, and no one leaves, that means no openings for incoming freshman. And if very few leave after their third year, who does the NFL draft?
