Not sure how I feel about this. I like that they settle it on the field, but only a half of football to determine who moves on!?!? Very interesting!

I'm sure there's a multiple wives joke to be made here, but I'll leave that alone.

When I first read the link, I was imagining some sort of 3 way checkers version of football. That would be interesting.

I like the way they actually do it though, more fun than a coin flip or something. I actually think that the team that plays and wins the first half has the advantage. I wouldn't want to be the team coming in cold in the second half against some guys already fired up over a win.

This is the challenge when you go to a district format. If Illinois does something similar, we would see the same thing.
