Again basically your low hanging fruit when it comes to the Class of 2020/2021 here. More to follow soon

Class of 2020/2021 Top Power Names by position:

QB

QB Athan Kaliakmanis Antioch 6-foot-3, 185 pounds 2021
- so how can a lowly freshman already be an elite level name with a handful of D1 offers? Welcome to recruiting in the Year 2018. Athan has the look, physical tools and potential to become a Power 5 signal caller. Kaliakmanis throws a very good ball, has touch and will just get better from here on out.

Others here are no question worth watching at the QB position (Nazareth 2021 QB JJ McCarthy comes to mind) but the difference for now? On the hoof/size difference that Athan has is no question a difference maker.

WR

WR Jadon Thompson Marist 6-foot-2, 165 pounds 2020- tremendous quickness, terrific hands and separation speed is the difference maker here for Thompson. Will get bigger/stronger from here on out and has just all the tools to become a high Power 5 level name in the 2020 class.

OL

OL Dylan Barrett St. Charles East 6-foot-5, 270 pounds 2020- well put together kid here. Has good mobility/feet and power. Will need to continue to develop in the weight room as well as in technique but the raw makeup and physical tools are there.

DL

DT Denver Warren West Aurora 6-foot-3, 285 pounds 2020- one of the most dominant DT's in Illinois regardless of graduation year and is for the most part already college mature physically. Will need to continue to push himself and continue to strive to become a dominant player (easier said than done when you already have Power 5 offers since his freshman year). Has a chance to become a SEC caliber type of recruit down the line.

DL Rylie Mills Lake Forest 6-foot-5, 250 pounds- Mills already looks college ready and passes all eyeball test with flying colors. For now is still a bit of a tweener whether he ends up as say a DT/DE and even could wind up on the offensive line. Loved his overall work ethic and approach at the Underclassmen Showcase and will blow up sooner rather than later.

DL Dominick Bass Phillips 2021 6-foot-4, 250 pounds 2021- very similar in several ways to Denver Warren...yet also different. Bass is still very much growing and developing physically and still has room to add good weight and strength. Could also become a high 4 star plus name down the line with continues growth and development.

DB

DB Marques Buford Bolingbrook 5-foot-10. 170 pounds 2020- already is physically college ready. Has just impressive physical tools, terrific ball skills and body control. Made nice strides in his game in 2017 and has a chance to take his game to the Power 5 level.

DB/WR Antonio Johnson East St Louis 6-foot-1, 170 pounds 2020- still growing and adding more weight. Very good speed for his size and is a player who could play say WR at the next level.

ATH/S Robert Pledger Phillips 6-foot-2, 175 pounds 2020- another bigger, longer kid who can just make plays. Can and will press man all comers as a corner but also has the look of a potential S/OLB at the college level with more weight and size. Phillips DB's always can play press man and will need to develop more but like the others listed here has big time up[side and potential.
