What are the block H on front of some of the Hawks helmets stand for? Seems like a few of them but not many have them.Congrats to the Porters! The bested us all night!

One side judge called a good catch on a guy that clearly had two feet out. We need better.Commendations to Lockport for a well deserved 8A championship. Also the officiating during the eight championship games was worthy of much praise. At times officials get criticized, sometimes deserved and sometimes not. The crews that worked these last two days should be proud for jobs well done. And finally, kudos to the television crews for excellent camera work and to the evening announcers who were much better than the afternoon announcers.
Big hits, white stars regular season big plays and black stars for the playoffs. What are the block H on front of some of the Hawks helmets stand for? Seems like a few of them but not many have them.
It is the called the "Ship of Knowledge". represents the ships coming through the canal, the beacon on top is for knowledge (looks like a flame) being carried throughYeah that or a lighthouse, something to do with the canal.
That was clearly a miss. But it’s 1 play in probably 1500 this weekend, that had no effect on the outcome. So I think we can get over it and appreciate that the games were well officiated overall. One side judge called a good catch on a guy that clearly had two feet out. We need better.
You can sit and complain and be part of the problem, or sign up and help towards a solution. One side judge called a good catch on a guy that clearly had two feet out. We need better.
Come on Newt, that was brutal. You can sit and complain and be part of the problem, or sign up and help towards a solution.
I agree, he was atleast a foot out of bounds!Come on Newt, that was brutal.

It’s a miss. Officials make mistakes. If you’re expecting perfection you’re being unreasonable. What looks easy on a replay isn’t as easy in real time. They will miss things from time to time it does happen. Many refer to it as the human element.Come on Newt, that was brutal.
I've been vocal about some calls this season (some more than most), but I was really impressed with the reffing on Friday and Saturday. Crews were acting proactively and having conversations with players when things started to get amped up, and you could tell they were enjoying calling the games. Fun to watchIt’s a miss.
