I was able to see Mike McNicholas a few times at various camps this summer.
Name: Mike McNicholas
Grad Year: 2019
Position: OG
Height: 6-foot-4
Weight: 285 pounds
Impressions of Mike McNicholas: Good sized kid here has definitely found the weight room at Montini. Played a mix of OG and DT last season but I feel that McNicholas's overall skill set/physical tools are more towards OG at the next level. Has pretty solid overall game here. Showed good hands balance and punch. Has above average strength for his age group and is not afraid to mix things up in one on ones. Needs to improve his overall quickness/feet over the next year plus. Bend/flexibility can also be a bit better but isn't a major concern or red flag for me.
McNicholas has yet to add any offers and I'm not surprised for now. McNicholas has a chance to show well on video this coming fall and I fully expect more colleges to get more involved here. Smart/respectful kid to talk to off the field. I see him early on as having say MAC level tools and potential.
