Bill Introduced in Illinois House Allowing Two Transfers in High School

Defend at all cost.
Defend what...exactly? People like you need to grow up and learn to lose once in a while instead of throwing a fit like a two year old. All costs? I am wondering if you were ok with July 13, 2024 but not ok with the outcome. "Defend at all cost." seems to tell me you were.

I don't disagree with you here, but I sincerely hope you find the irony in your statement

Trust me. I am a VERY happy man these days. I know exactly what you are talking about and it has been blown out of proportion. That does not mean I was ok with it. I was so pissed off as I watched it. I told some friends on a group text that if that man ever runs again I will never vote for him...and I didn't.

No is the correct answer. The ihsa rule was changed so transferring private to public during the school year requires sitting out a year even if the family doesn’t move because they already live in the public district. Rule was changed so that transferring private to public during the school year now aligns with the same public to private transfer rule.
Thanks. Is there a link somewhere to these rules? I can’t seem to find them on the IHSA site

Lol. People like me are who exactly? Care to lump me (who you don't know) in to another group of people you also don't know? Any more one liners you got from your favorite news source you'd like to throw out there?

Google IHSA transfer rule private school to public school
  • Exceptions:
Limited eligibility may be granted by the IHSA Executive Director in specific circumstances, such as:
    • The student enrolling in their home public school for the first time.
    • A change in family's financial position.

    • Extenuating circumstances documented by the sending school's principal or official representative.

    • If the transfer occurs before the start of the student's sophomore year.
The Kaneland kid transferred to his home public school for the first time…
