Kudos to the board

Purely anecdotal, but it seems like there has been way more balanced posts and info this week for playoffs covering a ton of teams, in many classes, then in years past. At least from what I can recall. Really good to see. Love seeing posts and insights this time of year from all over the 8 classes. Keep it up.

7A and 8A final four predictions

8A:

LWE vs Loyola- huge match-up, and most likely decides the winner.

Naperville Central vs Palatine- super hard to predict this side of the bracket.

7A:

Lincoln-Way Central vs Rice- Rice will come out of that Fenwick and Batavia battles. LWC is the best team in very weak top side of the bracket.

St. Rita vs Mt. Carmel- Bets 2 teams in the bottom half!

Playoff Home/Away Game Discussion

Just kind of curious as to what everyone thinks about the whole lower seed getting the home game if they haven't played at home yet rule. I personally think it's ludicrous to give an advantage to a team that didn't earn it, but want to hear everyone's thoughts. Only argument I can see is that some teams play much tougher schedules, but I think that is more of an argument for a different seeding method than for the home game trade off.

And in case you are wondering......30 percent of all the Class 4A brackets selected Rochester to win it all. In all honesty.....that's considerably less than I expected.
