Perhaps Edwardsville didn't know their opponent's personnel too well. Similar to last year their conference rival found 10 brand new starters, all upperclassmen, that were not in the program last year. As for some of the newcomers welcome to the land of Lincoln.

He changed a route bc the time was running down. He didn’t change the play (audible).

Caleb definitely made mistakes at the end of the game. You might want to remind yourself that he also threw 3 TDs in the 2nd half to get the Bears back in a game that was very one-sided in the 1st half.
