I do not think leaving Rita was his decision. The players all left because he left that is true and they were all there because he was there.

That is the nature of high school sports.

Not many if any private schools can pull that off. Marist, MC and Loyola probably the only ones. That's a huge financial commitment

I believe the terminology is “disqualification” not “ejection” thus the rule is null and void.

The term ejection does not appear in the NFHS rules.

Great news for a great player, great person and a super supportive family.

Last year the proposal was to reduce it to 18 and it failed, 20 seems like a compromise. Some multiple sport athletes will now hopefully have less things to juggle. To me this is a good thing, some summers were making the season feel like it went from June to November!!!

Regarding expectations, I need to discipline myself to avoid pre-season blather and drivel about the Bears from the 2 major Chicago daily sports pages. I knew it's their job, but they provide the forum for all the over-the-top "coach-speak." They are so starved for content in the late summer, especially since the Sox and Cubs are stinking up the place by then, if a fly farts around Halas Hall, it's breaking news. Like the political coverage and predictions from the mainstream media - they are more likely to get it wrong than right.

Coaches can be there own worst enemies. A big reason there is a shortage of qualified coaches is the summer commitment. Which is unpaid or barely paid at a lot of places.

If you got ejected in the first quarter of a game. You were out the rest of that game and the next game.
