What HS team do you root for

I root for the Dons of ND. I root for all of the Catholic schools because I’m a lifetime believer in Catholic education and pray that Catholic schools can survive. Plus I enjoy the meltdowns that some people have over Catholic schools winning… Thor?

After that I have family reasons that have turned me into a fan of Maine S, Byron, and this year I’ve got a rooting interest in Fremd.

CS8 Predictions-Week 5

I was only bringing it up because Rochester has played in a 5A/6A conference for the past however long and never seen this kind of injury spree. All the sudden they schedule an 8A CPL, a MO Catholic power and by the time they get to Chatham they're already bruised and battered. Depth is a very key part that I failed to mention. QND also lacks the depth to sustain even half the injuries Rochester has to this point. lol

Outside of Althoff, QND, and some of the CCL, most privates aren't playing programs 3 and 4 times their size week in and week out. That was only reason for mentioning QND in the previous post of mine. QND at 378.50 is more than doubled in enrollment by their closest conference comp, Lincoln at 814.50. QND's average opponent enrollment this year is 1110.30.

Rochester listed at 882.00 versus an average opponent enrollment of 1118.43. Just interesting to see...

I'll be very interested in who QND goes and gets for non-conference in the next 4 years.

QHS deal is officially dead, according to 3 different media outlets. The 2025 game is off the table.
The Richmond-Burton deal is complete now as well to my understanding.
Are there any relatively close Missouri schools that would be a good matchup for QND going forward?

Is Dierre Hill the State's Top RB? Who Else?

The question can only be about his level of competition, not productivity.

Last night, he had four carries for 126 yards and 3 TDs.

On the season, he has 22 TD, two 2PATs and 966 yards rushing on 51 attempts for a 18.9 YPC clip.
Level of competition is a BIG issue.

Is Dierre Hill the State's Top RB? Who Else?

Would be curious to know what Caden Considine's numbers for Byron look like this year.
I’m not 100% sure but I thought I read that he missed a game earlier.

Edit: it’s here behind a paywall but you can hit reader view on your phone.

——Freshman fullback Kaden McGough churned out 174 rushing yards and two TDs on 22 carries while filling in for injured 1,000-yard rusher Caden Considine. Knoll added 73 rushing yards.

Boyer said he anticipates Considine to be available later after Week 4. Byron led 14-3 at halftime after Dawson Criddle's short TD run.

"Caden Considine goes down and the next Kaden steps up," Talbert said. "I came up as a freshman last year and I thought I filled my role pretty well. He comes up and does the same thing, it’s just huge. If one guy goes down, the next guy comes up."——

I would make the argument that Hill has the best O like in the entire state

To counter that

There isn’t a team in the entire Midwest that has the strength of schedule that ESL has

For him to pull those numbers is incredible
Althoff is very very good, no doubt, but I don’t think a 1A team has the best O-line in the state.

He does not play for ESL, he's at althoff, and for reference althoffs opponents are 5-17 on the year unless I've miscounted
