People actually surprised by this? Only surprise for me was Jonas Williams. Shocked at what he can do. Now I know why the brook was so upset to lose him. I said this earlier. I’ve watched thousands upon thousands of Illinois high school football games but I’ve never seen a player like Jonas Williams in Illinois. Maybe some better passers but not with that type of scrambling ability.

I don’t think anyone can be surprised by this. Beast does what Beast does.

How was the attendance at this game? I just wonder how many casual fans have grown jaded over the years by going out to East in the middle rounds to see another lopsided game. I have, even though Frankfort is not all that far.

According to ihsa.org, York and Naperville Central have never played each other in the playoffs. York has played Naperville North a couple times.

A lot of people think the fix was in and the bout was basically scripted.
Tyson's net worth is reportedly around $10 million. He received $20 million to fight Paul and allegedly an extra $5M if the fight went more than five rounds.
The fight was put together by Paul's production company and Netflix. Paul loses and the whole thing blows up. Paul wins and they bring on the next aging tomato can to fight him on Netflix.
Neither fighter seemed to throw many, if any, blows that could have done significant damage.
Tyson fought like a guy in it for the paycheck.
Whole thing stunk to high heck.

Pretty sure we knocked you off in 2007.

The Barrios/Ramos and Serrano/Taylor fights were excellent. Tyson/Paul was awful.

Yeah IHSA did some funny stuff with the cut that robbed us of a #1 in the south and gave The Beloved a 2nd round matchup with DGS... a rematch of a game that went to the final moments in week 1. DGS came back in the 2nd half of the rematch to win in the final moments. Then DGS had a tight one with but a L to GBN. It was a really tight South bracket.
