East Side v Geneva 48-28 GAME & TITLE

Flyers moving the ball by air, unironically.

Gomiller having a nice day. Flyers ground attack is being backed up like the Kennedy in snow.

Baker catch and drop - might be targetting. Waived off ... good call.

Third down, about mid-field. Lyons runs for 25. Now Tilmon runs for four. He is a scatterbug back.

Lyons on foot and the five-yard-line trips him up. First down.

JCA CREDIT- one guy usually goes unnoticed to their success

i saw a Gordie Gillespie referrance and got me on a roll:

i was just gonna say all the JCA HC's have taken beatings by alum, fans, and opposifions...

From "God's Coach"- even Coach Gillespie used to get slammed; so did Boyter. He got out before they really took aim at him though.

Stone and Sharpe really took beatings from what i remember even with multiple chanpionships/title appearances.. both "ruined" the program at one point or at least took the blame.

Jaworski all respect to what he has done but he doesn't compare to any of the gentlemen before him. And to his credit i think he would be the first to admit that!

i think the true MVP of much of the JCA success over the last 25-30 years is one name we rarely hear... Coach Douglas the OL coach.

it is really a formula of Francis ruettiger lifting and creating those lineman into big hulking people into flexible strong athletes that can run for their size and Douglas sprinkling his magic and then coaching the hell outa those OL!
