ESL is a top nationally ranked team and this is what’s being discussed…weird.
Exactly right. While creative, his proposal is DOA. It’s just another scheme the public’s have to make up to prevent the privates from winning. And if the plan doesn’t work after implementation, they’ll come up with something else to ensure a public gets a trophy.
Tired. Old. Argument.
Probably but that has nothing to do with their recent success.Does DePaul Prep not recognize the Gordon Tech titles? They won 6A in football in 1980.
Could you clear the moon roof?Haha. I used to be able to pee over the hood of my fathers Buick

They won 6A in football in 1980.Boys XC won state two years ago, girls were runner up this year, baseball was semifinals two years ago, and girls volleyball was downstate this weekend. We are in our fourth year as a DePaul family and the steady improvement in all facets over the years has been very nice to see.
You’re not a lunatic today Martini. You’re a fisherman.Greatest fishing trip ever!
Totally 🙄Loyola should probably just forfeit.
Haha. I used to be able to pee over the hood of my fathers BuickI am sure he knows all about interrupted streams!
Loyola should probably just forfeit.I think LWE is a 3 TD favorite. Is there any narrative to support a close game? Is it that they beat the only good team they played this year, Naperville Central, by “only” 28-7? Is it that LWE was unbeatable in 2018? Is it that LWE had the best D in history of 8A last year? Is it that LA hasn’t played anywhere close to a complete game this year? I am struggling to see a close game here given LWE offense.

There are two others not from CCL in final 4 and a school from Springfield that’s regularly in semifinals (not this year).
Never said they did. You can see the changes to know the adjustments were made to improve from what you were doing in the first half. You’re better than that SIU.They haven’t won a game because of halftime adjustments…
Including the famous Dr. Scanlon.Greatest fishing trip ever!
Wow! Lol. I mean I get it; you never downplay what you’re capable of and try to channel that energy into a pre-game, however after you experience being outmatched, you at least acknowledge that your opponent was at least pretty good. Not suggesting that the game was “weird”.The Chatham pregame announcers were stating "East St. Louis is over rated in their national ranking. They aren't that good." And "I think Chatham is under rated. Theyre alot better than people give them credit." They add, "I don't see what the hype is all about. What, are the Green bAY Packers coming to town or something?" A buddy of mine said to them, "no idiot, the Detroit Lions are coming to town and you're about to get your knee caps bit off."
We all laughed when we heard that. ESL #17 and Chatham #1,572 nationally.
Racki is consulting Coach Z on making adjustments.Agree 100%. I also think SF needs to establish a run game…Racki and co. will make adjustments to their passing D vs. last game.
Two more dark horses fall in the quarterfinal round (Morgan Park and Downers North), but that leaves four others that are moving on (LeRoy, Chicago Christian, Normal U-High and Geneva). A couple of the dark horses have a decent chance of moving on to the championship game in their class. As true dark horses that have at least a small chance of winning a title, I will go with:
1A - LeRoy (Everyone seems to have Althoff and Lena-Winslow ahead of them, so this should qualify.)
2A - Chicago Christian (They have a difficult path and no playoff pedigree, but their only loss was to 4A Wheaton Academy.)
3A - St. Joseph - Ogden (Although unbeaten, clearly both Byron and Montini would be considerable favorites over them.)
4A - Normal University High School (They are battle tested in the Central State Eight.)
5A - Morgan Park (Forget the Chicago Catholic League, let's go Public League here.)
6A - Geneva (I will stay away from the Flyers as long as possible and go with a DuKane co-champ.)
7A - Downers Grove North (The Trojans regain early-season form and sweep to the title.)
8A - West Aurora (Do you believe in miracles?)
Edit: After posting the picks above, I checked the CalPreps rankings to make sure the teams could reasonably be viewed as dark horses. I believe they all can be viewed that way. Here are the CalPreps rankings within their respective classes:
LeRoy - 3rd
Chicago Christian - 6th
St. Joseph - Ogden - 4th
Normal U-High - 11th
Morgan Park - 7th
Geneva - 3rd
Downers Grove N. - 7th
West Aurora - 18th
All are ranked 3rd or worse, and even where they are as high as 3rd or 4th, they are ranked behind powerhouses such as: Althoff and Lena, Byron and Montini, East St. Louis and Cary-Grove.
