Oh cool. Some of their faithful would choose their entire receiving corps and QB over anyone from East Side.
I disagree with their sentiments. Not sure what you think about the topic. Your contribution is actually nothing.Oh cool.

Nice job hijacking a thread with incorrect info. Some of their faithful would choose their entire receiving corps and QB over anyone from East Side.
Very similar team to what they always are. Great defense and a pro style offense. They have been playing a sophomore QB more and more as of late and the offense has been better.Any insights from fans or rivals?
@Brin22 may I ask how you found that?MC63. You can look at the season stats as an insight to their strengths. Game not gonna be close.
Batavia Season Stats
Right bait, wrong pondSome of their faithful would choose their entire receiving corps and QB over anyone from East Side.
I LOVE Batavia and everything they do. But the One Town, One Team motto drives me up a wall.Batavia will hang signs and make sure its very well known that they are ONE TOWN, ONE TEAM!
Burrell has 72 receptions for 1,200 yards and 15 TDs.....wow.....72 receptions for 15 TDs used to be the 5 year combined total of the entire WR corps at MC....and he's just a Soph.
It's been quoted by many Batavia players over the last few meetings in the articles that this is the game they want, they haven't forgotten the year before, stuff like that, but it's pretty much the media that instigates the question to them to make a more entertaining article. Revenge factor only gets you through the kickoff, then you have to play the game. The only people who brought up revenge over and over again have been the MC posters on this board. Winning a state championship is more than enough incentive on its own
I remember the revenge game against Naz too, and their incessant need to say they all come from one town, that’s great but what’s the big deal? Expand the gene pool, it might be good to get some fresh blood in town! Be welcoming to outsiders not just head strong on only allowing insiders into your life. I think the idea of having a school that welcomes everyone would be beneficial to everyone. It's been quoted by many Batavia players over the last few meetings in the articles that this is the game they want, they haven't forgotten the year before, stuff like that, but it's pretty much the media that instigates the question to them to make a more entertaining article. O/U on combined receiving yards and receiving TD’s. I want to know what you consider “BIG”?I expect big games out of Isiah Brown and Brett Berggren
Man… I am tornO/U on combined receiving yards and receiving TD’s. I want to know what you consider “BIG”?
Kid can sling it, he's just inexperienced. Has yet to get in a real groove because they swap him out with the other qbMan… I am torn
The sophomore QB is about 60% on his completions
MC defense has had issues with every team that has a decent QB
The Batavia receiving core is legit… I have questions on the young QB
I've been critical of MC's defense this year as it's been different from what MC's fan were spoiled with the past two seasons defensively but let's take a look at the QBs MC faced this season week in and week out.Man… I am torn

Mostly agree. Who do you think is their main concern? Whitwell?I've been critical of MC's defense this year as it's been different from what MC's fan were spoiled with the past two seasons defensively but let's take a look at the QBs MC faced this season week in and week out.
Hun QB ended up with the second most passing yards in the Nation. Broke New Jerseys All time passing record.
SR QB Steve Armbruster All Conference CCL Green, broke SRs single season passing yard record, played against him 2X this season
Naz QB Logan Malachuk All State, All Conference, CCL Green Offensive Player of the Year, 4 year starter, possible 3x State Champion QB
Iggy QB Jack Wanzung 2024 CCL Blue All Conference 2023 CCL Green Player of the Year
Benet QB Jack Kubacki CCL All Conference, Purple Conference Offensive Player of the Year
BR QB CJ Gray- Hon Mention CCL Blue All Conference
Fenwick Jamen Williams- 1st team CCL White All Conference.
Loyola QB Ryan Fitzgerald- All State, All Conference QB, Big Ten Bound
St. Charles North QB Ethan Plumb- All State, 3X All Conference, 4 year starter, broke numerous records, in Batavias conference and was completely overwhelmed by MCs Defense.
Iron sharpens Iron. I'm not saying Batavias QB doesn't have talent. I watched the LWC game and he made some nice throws and as only Sophomore I'm sure he will have a similar successful career as Ryan Boe did at Batavia. But looking at the QB's MC has had to face this year, he's nothing MC hasn't seen numerous times and I don't think he is their main concern this week.
The running backs they have faced is as impressive as the QBs. MacPherson, Herman, Lofton, that beast from Normal and the entire JCA backfield. The schedule they play is ridiculous. Hun not included because they play a national schedule, but of the remaining 7 made the State Playoffs, 4 made the semis and 3 are in the State Championship game (Loyola, JCA and Naz). The one that didn't make the playoffs was Iggy and they are playing in the Prep Bowl Championship. They have been tested each week.Mostly agree. Who do you think is their main concern? Whitwell?
