Chicago (Ill) Mount Carmel 2021 ATH Kenenna Odeluga (6-foot-0, 200 pounds) checks in and recaps his latest recruiting news, summer plans and more here.
"I haven't pick up any recent offers. I'm just starting to focus on the schools who have already offered me."
Odeluga filled us in on his overall recruiting process these days.
"I'm really just talking with the different coaches, researching each school's academics and football programs and evaluating how the schools will benefit forty years down the road rather than four or five years."
Odeluga has also made some virtual visits.
"I've made virtual visits with Western Michigan, Cornell, Penn and I'm also planning to take one with Dartmouth sometime soon. The virtual visits have been helpful. They give me much needed info about their education and also seeing the facilities."
Does Odeluga have a time frame for making a college decision?
"Either the end of the summer or early into the school year, but we'll see."
So what part of his game will be different in 2020 compared to a season ago?
"Definitely my endurance is much improved this season which is good because I'll be playing a lot more both ways. I've also been working hard on improving my speed. My strength has also improved and I've gained more muscle mass and people are gonna feel me this season."
