Roselle (Ill.) Lake Park junior three star ranked defensive end Jacub Panasiuk (6-foot-3, 245 pounds) is down to a Final Four favorites schools list. Panasiuk checks in and fills us in on his impressions of each Final 4 school and more here.
"I'm down to my favorite four schools," Panasiuk said. "I'm also going to make my college decision known at school on June 14th."
Panasiuk on Minnesota?
"I like the defensive line coach Jeff Phelps. My former teammate Antonio Shenault goes to Minnesota and has told me a lot of great things about it. I like howe the campus at Minnesota is located right in the middle of the city (Minneapolis)."
Panasiuk on Penn State?
"Coach Spencer is an energetic, crazy coach and I love it. I like the location of the campus but I also don't like how far away the school is from home."
Panasiuk on Michigan State?
"Coach Burton is one of the best defensive line coaches in the nation so you have to respect his knowledge of the game. He's a great coach. I love Coach Dantonio he's a caring man. A lot of people know that my brother Mike is going to Michigan State so it would make it easier on my family if I go there."
Panasiuk on Indiana?
"I love how coach Wilson is a very energetic head coach. I also really like defensive line coach Mark Hagen. He's an intense guy and he also just loves to coach. My head coach (Chris Roll) is an alumnus and he has told me a lot of stories about IU."
My Thoughts on Panasiuk decision? I still say it's all Michigan State unless something changes in the last minute. Next up? I'd say Minnesota followed by Indiana...I think Penn State from a football standpoint would also be up pretty high for Panasiuk but the overall distance as he mentioned is a no go in my opinion.
